The Walton area has many benches, most of them on the decline. We as @wccmk have started the regeneration process, firstly at Hindhead Knoll and expanding through the parish. Part of my job as a Community Warden is the task of uplifting these benches and restoring them back to a good standard, plus with a pop of colour!

I have been replacing the existing benches at the Hindhead Knoll upper circle with a new design that brings back vibrance and life to the area. Plus the new signature colour, teak!

Currently the bench count is 4 :) 

I have also been restoring benches where possible utilising the hidden wood grain covered up by years of dirt, grime and moss. The process removes the dirt and decay, brings back the wood grain and gives it a fresh coat of varnish to protect the bench for future use.
